10ft containers
A compact footprint for coffee, drinks, ice cream or a focused takeaway menu. We plan counters and equipment carefully to make the available space work.
KIO POD LTD · BUILT IN THE UK
Turn a shipping container into a working catering unit. We supply and convert 10ft and 20ft containers, with standard-height and high-cube options, practical kitchen layouts and bespoke finishes to suit your business.

Our shipping container conversions use an actual steel shipping-container shell. We plan the serving openings, access, counters and services around the way you prepare food and serve customers.
From coffee and ice cream to street food, takeaway kitchens and pizzerias, the fit-out can be developed around your menu, equipment and trading location.

FROM SHELL TO SERVING HATCH
Container conversions give us a strong steel shell to work from. We cut and frame the openings, build the interior and prepare the services for the agreed equipment layout.
They can suit venues, food courts, event sites and regular trading locations. Tell us how the unit will reach your site, where it will sit and what connections are available, so these can be considered from the start.

More length for preparation, cooking, refrigeration and storage. A useful starting point when your equipment list and service volume need a larger layout.
A practical option where the ceiling height suits your equipment and fit-out. We confirm the finished internal clearance as part of the layout.
A taller shell offers extra headroom for the fit-out. Finished clearance depends on the insulation, ceiling, floor and equipment selected.
The basic fit includes the container itself and the core interior and services. Your final quotation sets out the agreed container, layout and specification.
Cooking appliances, refrigeration, extraction and flues, gas installation and certification, roller shutters, additional hatches, top signs, screens, graphics and bespoke finishes are quoted separately. Customers arrange delivery, lifting, positioning, site preparation and connection to site utilities. The basic fit is intended to be equipped around your menu.
